After my frog features journal I was inspired so here he is.... a little red eyed tree frog! Isn't he cute! As always i hope you like it and CC is always welcome!

I am simply awestruck by this stunning rendition of a stock photo into digital art. The amount of work that has gone into thisleaves me speechless.
I have to admit that I don't like the glow in the background, though Claire may have added this in to accentuate the features, I'm sure there's a good reason for it - though I think it would look more natural with a plain black background.
The detail is outstanding, making it look even more realistic than the photo used as stock, the colour is so vibrant and the texture is again, extremely realistic. My favourite section of the whole image is the eye and the wry smile, almost like the froggy Mona Lisa!
Very nice work....there is a whitish halo behind part of the frog and under the wood...I wonder if it would been better to darken that part....just an observation.
May I second the comment I've read a few times here that I just love froggies. But that said this one is exceptional. I really like the way you have clearly focused on his face and let the rest fade just a bit. That and the bright contrasts and strong colors really make this an enjoyable piece.
